Add text, content to figure

You can add text and hyperlinks to the shape.

Add text or other content to a shape​

  1. Double-click the shape with the left mouse button. You will enter edit mode. A cursor will appear inside the shape.
  2. Type text or paste a link.
  3. To exit edit mode, left-click anywhere in the document outside the shape.

Adjust the size of the shape to fit the text​

  1. Select the shape.
  2. On the Home tab, in the Shape group, click the Resize shape to fit text button.

When this option is enabled, the shape will automatically resize when text is added or deleted. To return the shape to its original size, click the button again.
