Find and replace data

You can quickly find and change data using the Find and replace panel.

Find data​

  1. Press Ctrl+F (Cmd+F). The Find and replace pane will open.
  2. In the Find field, type the text you are looking for. The search starts automatically.
  3. If necessary, configure additional Parameters.
  4. To go to a match in the file, click the match in the pane.
  5. To move to the next or previous match, click the or buttons.

You can also use theFind and replace tool in the sidebar.

Replace data​

  1. In the Find and replace panel, enter the data you want to replace in the Find field.
  2. In the Replace with field, enter the new data.
  3. If necessary, configure additional Parameters.
  4. If you want to replace a single match, click the match in the panel and click the Replace button.
  5. If you want to replace all found matches, click the Replace all button.
