Hide rows, columns

You can hide rows and columns in a table.

Hide rows or columns

1. Select the rows or columns.
2. In the header context menu, select Hide.

You can also use the Hide row or Hide column tool on the Page layout tab.

Hidden rows or columns are marked with a special hatched marker in the header.

Show rows or columns

1. Hover the cursor over the hatched marker between the row or column headers. Two arrows will appear next to the marker.
2. Click one of the arrows.

You can also select the rows or columns between which the hidden elements are located, and then use the tools:

• Show in the context menu.
• Unhide row or Unhide column on the Page layout tab.
